Hello! My name is Bernadette, but my friends call me Berny. I was born and raised on the warm, sun-soaked soil of New Mexico. My family's roots trace back to the Pueblos of Isleta, Laguna, and Zuni, where our heritage runs deep. My children have grown up playing on the sprawling mesas, among the pine trees of the Sandia mountains, and, along the sandy banks of the Rio Grande Valley, carrying forward our love and connection to this cherished land we call home.
My love for real estate stems from a lifelong passion for building and creating homes. Some of my earliest memories are of watching and helping my uncles construct their family homes. I can still recall seeing old adobe houses around the Pueblo falling into disrepair and thinking, I wish I could fix that house up. Years later, I bought my first home, and I was hooked! After renovating that home, my husband and I purchased and restored another, and then another. This passion ultimately led me to leave my career in social work and become a REALTOR®.
My personal experiences as a first-time home buyer, seller, and investor allow me to truly understand the challenges and excitement that come with these transitions. I pride myself on being a no-pressure REALTOR®. My goal isn't to convince you to buy or sell, but to guide and support you through the process. I'm here to educate, explain, negotiate, and organize-ensuring your best interests are always the priority.
Whether you're expanding your branches, re-rooting, or transplanting, it would be my privilege to walk alongside you on your real estate journey and use my knowledge, expertise, and resources to help you find a place to grow and flourish here in the Land of Enchantment.
